I am creating a incident management arrangement for my team. I accept a created a infopath form in and added aTicket ID field. On Form Load ,in this field I desire that whenever anybody create a item (ticket) theTicket ID field should populate a unique ID similar INC0001,INC0002,INC0003.......,INC0010. encounter the picture

Upgrade Site Collections
Hullo,
We are doing a test migration from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2016 with SharePoint 2013 as intermediate.
We take a spider web application that has v site collections each has their own database.
In the 2013 environment,
I created the web application.
I did a fill-in restore of the root database from 2010 SQL to 2013 SQL and I did a test-mount on the root database. After clearing the issues I did mount on that web application to the root database.
Browsed the web application. Everything looks good.
For the site collection1, I did back restore of the site collection 1 database from 2010 SQL to 2013 SQL.
I used the following commands to do a upgrade
Mount-SPContentDatabase -Name WSS_Content_SiteCol1 -DatabaseServer SharePoint2013 -WebApplicationhttp://sharepoint2013
New-SPSite -Url http://sharepoint2013/sites/sitecol1 -ContentDatabase WSS_Content_SiteCol1 -Name SiteCol1 -Description SiteCol1 -Template sts#0 -OwnerAlias domain\userid -compatibilitylevel 14
Upgrade-SPSite http://sharepoint2013/sites/sitecol1 -versionupgrade
Everything went through without errors.
When I access the site collection through the url, I'm non seeing whatever content that was in 2010 site collection. Everything is new. Seems like it created a new site collection.
How to practice the migration for spider web awarding that has multiple site collections with their content databases?

Workflow failing to publish
Hullo,
I am having some trouble publishing a workflow with SharePoint Designer 2013.
It worked perfectly before I accidentally deleted the sub site.
Afterwards restoring the page, the workflow will not publish no more - apologies, I cannot attach a screenshot as "Torso text cannot contain images or links until nosotros are able to verify your account"
The error message is
"Errors were found when compiling the workflow. The workflow files were saved simply cannot be run"
and if I expand on it, the message says something like - "updatable state. Its current state is 'Unregistered'"
I spent hours searching for a solution without any luck.
I have tried duplicating the workflow, but it all the same would not publish. As well tried deleting enshroud, but no luck at that place as well.
Whatever assistance would be greatly appreciated.

we have a form library in infopath 2013 which is published in sharepoint 2013 and we desire to automatically generate code for this class library the pattern of code is (Department_coDe,department _code,001) and the last part automatically increase but we accept a rule.if both department code and section code is equal the number increase and if one of them is equal the code is 1.is there whatsoever solution?

I am facing a strange issue inside sharepoint designer on sharepoint online site. where today I accessed a workflow within my sharepoint designer, and i got the "Modified Past" field for the workflow in this format " i:0#.f|membership|admin@****.onmicrosoft.com ". here is a screen shot:-
while usually the "Modified By" field will show the Display Name (for example Admin) for the user, equally follow:-
so can anyone advice if i have a problem with my site or with my workflow, that is showing the "Modified By" field for the workflow in this format " i:0#.f|members|admin@****.onmicrosoft.com ", instead of showing the Display Name for the user?

Creating a user entered filter for a Custom List using SPD2013
Proficient Afternoon;
I have a visitor directory which I have compiled using a Custom Listing. I want to filter the custom list, based on user entry from a text box. Using SPD 2013 I have;
- Created a new ASPX folio
- Inserted a new data view with my custom list.
However how to program the text box / button has been a challenge.
I take tried using custom search / results still do not like the user experience.

Wondering if I tin build a list in SharePoint all-around iii unlike tiers of users. I'll try to explain this at a very loftier level:
1st Tier - Requestor
2d Tier - Reviewer
3rd Tier - Approver
Input form would allow the requestor to fill out information and button it to a reviewer (via a Workflow), after Reviewer would choice upward the detail out of the queue and add attachments and additional data inputs and button (via a Workflow) to an Approver. I has a Workflow in 2010 which used wait for workflow not equal to. Now SharePoint designer not have that option.
The workflow is list base and list is a infopath form library. Once course submit for its await for approving once approver approved it motility to next stage.

In the above tutorial, saving the document volition update the list items, simply I would similar to add a workflow before the items are updated. In infopath, I accept a submit push, which i would like to use to start the workflow. I am not using any rules for this submit button.
When the submit button is pressed, the data in the listing is updated but the workflow does not get activated.
When I try to manually activate the workflow I can see that information technology immediately gets cancelled with the following fault message:

Actually I am customizing the SharePoint task list class in info path designer and able to publish in the SharePoint site. But my requirement is for the new particular I should require user (Requester) to fill only the requisite column and in the edit list form nosotros need to have the columns filled by the requester and the additional columns which will be taken care by the task owner i.east a different page for the requester and for the job editing it should have both the requester columns and the task owner columns. Can anyone guide how to do that.

Sharepoint Designer Workflow, Date and Time
I am currently trying to develop a workflow. This workflow will be a multiple step workflow but the outcome I am having is I have to be able to poll on the time the workflow last run. I know how to put the Date and Time Terminal Run but I don't want the date in the equation. I take to put that if the workflow last run is less than 9:55 am, then go along with stride. But everytime I do that, it is putting the engagement in that I am creating this stride on. Please advise if at that place is another way to do this. Attatched is a screenshot of what I am doing now.
I attempted to set a variable, which was successful but so the step would non allow me to utilise the is less than. That option is non available.

I am using SOAP service information connection to receive the data of current looged in userGetUserProfileName in a field of infopath course. Information technology fetches the data from webservice and I can run across the event in preview of form simply in browser it throws an error as "An error occurred while trying to connect to a Web service" .
I Know there is lots of workaround for this but all involved central adminwhich I don't take access. Can we resolve this issue without central admin that is from local machine although I have full command of the site.

I am able to do it in Infopath preview form but the same is not working in Infopath spider web browser form.
